Hours: Full-time, early morning shifts
A growing artisan sourdough bakery looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to join their friendly and passionate team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hands-on bakery environment, producing high-quality pastries and sweet treats for both retail and wholesale customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce laminated pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat, Danish, etc.)
- Bake cakes, cookies, biscuits, and a variety of other pastries
- Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
- Support stock control, ordering, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment
- Work as part of a close-knit team to deliver smooth daily production
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a bakery environment
- Strong knowledge of lamination and pastry techniques
- Ability to produce a wide range of cakes, cookies, biscuits, and pastries
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing top-quality products
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts
- A positive, team-focused attitude
