These roles are ideal for individuals with a background in youth work, education, social care, or mental health support who are looking to step into or continue a career in pastoral care within education.Key Responsibilities:Provide daily emotional, behavioural and social support to students.Work closely with Heads of Year, SENCOs, safeguarding leads and teaching staff.Support students with attendance, punctuality, and engagement in learning.Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner.Build trusted relationships with students, parents/carers and external agencies.Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture focused on wellbeing and success.We''re looking for candidates who:Have experience working with young people in a pastoral, mentoring, or support capacity.Understand safeguarding procedures and the importance of confidentiality.Possess excellent communication, empathy, and resilience.Can handle sensitive situations with ..... full job details .....
