Pastoral Support

Simply Education is working with a school in Northampton seeking a dedicated key stage 3 Pastoral Support Assistant to work alongside the Head of Year.

The role will involve supporting students with EHCPs and SEND needs, writing reports, monitoring progress and working closely with the SENCO and wider SEN team to ensure students receive the appropriate support. You will also spend time working within the school''s specialist unit.

This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, with the potential to continue until Easter and possibly through to the end of the academic year.

• Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND/EHCPs

• Have strong written and report-writing skills

• Ideally have previous experience working within a school environment

• Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people

• Be flexible, adaptable and able to build positive relationships

• Work effectively as part of a wider pastoral and SEN team

• Have excellent communication skills

• Be hardworking, reliable and committed
