The pastoral team plays a vital role in supporting pupils with social, emotional, behavioural, and wellbeing needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and succeed both inside and outside of the classroom. Your Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small-group pastoral support for pupils with social, emotional, or behavioural needs Assist with early intervention strategies and monitor pupil wellbeing Support pupils with attendance, engagement, and behaviour management Work with teachers, safeguarding leads, and external agencies to provide coordinated support Maintain accurate pastoral records and contribute to individual support plans Help create a safe, supportive, and positive school environment Build trusted, empathetic relationships with pupils to promote progress and confidence Requirements: Experience supporting young people in a school, youth work, or pastoral setting Strong communication, relationship-building, and de-escalation ..... full job details .....
