Pastoral Support Assistant - Secondary School - long term contract with a view to going permanent. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with pastoral experience who is keen to make a significant contribution to the development of students in a thriving Manchester Secondary School.We are looking for a resilient and passionate Pastoral Support Assistant to support pupils achieve their full potential starting in September. This role will be based in the schools on-site alternative provision, so any experience within alternative education settings would be beneficial. Pastoral Support Assistant - About the role Support students in an emotional, academic and social capacity Uphold excellent standards for behaviour and attendance Promote the schools values and ethos Deal with any safeguarding concerns appropriately and sensitively Work with class teachers and senior leaders to support pupils Liaise with parents regarding progress Encourage and motivate pupils Long term position - Start in September Paid £105-£115 a dayPastoral Support Assistant - Requirements Relevant experience supporting pupils with SEN/SEMH needs Excellent communication skills.
