We are seeking a Pastoral Support & Cover Officer to join our team this May. This is a versatile role designed for someone who can manage a classroom during short-term teacher absences while also acting as a key mentor for students requiring social and emotional support. You will be the "go-to" person for maintaining a positive school culture, ensuring that every student feels safe, heard, and ready to learn. Key Responsibilities Classroom Supervision: Provide high-quality cover for pre-set lessons, maintaining behaviour standards and ensuring students remain on task. Pastoral Care: Act as a first point of contact for students experiencing behavioural or emotional difficulties during the day. Student Mentoring: Deliver 1:1 or small group interventions to support students with attendance, confidence, or social skills.
