This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with secondary school experience looking to make a positive impact in a secondary setting.The RoleAs a Pastoral Support Officer you will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of Year 8 and Year 9 students. Working closely with the Head of Year, SENCO, and safeguarding team, you''ll help ensure every student feels supported, understood, and ready to learn.Your responsibilities will include:Providing day-to-day pastoral support to Year 8 and 9 students.Building positive relationships with students to promote good behaviour, attendance, and engagement.Supporting students with social, emotional, and wellbeing needs, and signposting additional help where required.Meeting with parents, carers, and external agencies to discuss student progress or concerns.Assisting with behaviour monitoring, attendance tracking, and record keeping.Contributing to whole-school initiatives that support inclusion and student wellbeing.Working collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure consistent pastoral support across the year groups.The school are looking for a pastoral support office with the following: Experience working ..... full job details .....
