This will be a full time long term Pastoral Mentor position, with scope to go permanent. Working hours for this Pastoral Mentor post will be 8am to 4pm. Responsibilities for this Pastoral Mentor role will include but not be limited to: Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessionsWorking with the teachers to ensure each student''s learning needs are identified Attending to students'' social, emotional and personal needs when requiredSupporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policyUndertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed The rates of pay for this Pastoral Mentor position will be between 82.14 to 100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant. The School An ''Outstanding'' Secondary School and Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton. It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff. 90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
