We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Pastoral Managerandnbsp;to join the supportive team at a school in High Wycombe. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work closely with students, staff, and families to promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and a safe, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.


About the Role:


  • Deliver one-to-one and group-based pastoral support to students
  • Monitor and address student behaviour and attendance concerns
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, the SENCO, and external agencies
  • Support student safeguarding and wellbeing in accordance with school policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships with students, parents, and carers



The ideal candidate will:


  • Demonstrated experience in a Pastoral Manager role or a similar position within a school or related setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities
  • Approachable, calm, and supportive, with a non-judgmental attitude
  • Capable of managing sensitive situations with confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism
