Pastoral Manager - Secondary School Location: Blackpool Salary: £15.00-£18.00 per hour (including holiday pay) Start Date: Tuesday 3rd November 2026 Contract: Full-time, temporary - initially 2 weeks, likely to be extended Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm, Friday 8:00am-3:30pm Vida Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Pastoral Manager to work in a secondary school in Blackpool, covering a period of sickness absence. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pastoral support across three year groups, working closely with pupils, teaching staff and senior leaders to promote positive behaviour, attendance and pupil wellbeing. This is a full-time position starting Tuesday 3rd November, initially for two weeks, although the assignment is likely to be extended. Key Responsibilities Provide pastoral support and guidance to pupils across three secondary school year groups. Manage behaviour, attendance and wellbeing concerns, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place. Support pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. Work closely with teaching staff, senior leaders and parents/carers to address pastoral concerns. Maintain accurate records of incidents, interventions and pupil progress. Promote a positive, safe and supportive school environment.
