Pastoral Lead / Deputy DSL

Location: Fenton Grange School Salary: Up to £30,805 per annum DOE Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent Fenton Grange School is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Pastoral Lead/ Deputy DSL to join a specialist SEMH school. Our learners need a creative, engaging curriculum to help them overcome barriers to learning. You will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, creating a therapeutic environment that focuses on both academic and personal development. Who we are: Cambian Fenton Grange School, an independent DfE-registered school. We provide high quality specialist education for up to 20 students, who have experienced trauma. The pupils in our school exhibit a range of challenging behaviours and associated learning and communication difficulties. To be responsible for: Emotional welfare of all students.Transitions into and out of Fenton Grange School.Safeguarding processes, records, actions, culture; liaising with DSL.Communication- external and internal.Attendance procedures and tracking.Therapeutic approaches and dissemination of best practice.Assessing, tracking and reporting pupil progress and outcomes and developing and implementing action plans re.
