      <description>Location: Wigan | Salary: &amp;pound;28500 - &amp;pound;40000/annum | Type: Contract | We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and student-centred  Pastoral Lead  to join a thriving secondary school in the Wigan area. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional to play a key role in shaping a positive, inclusive and supportive school culture where every student can thrive.  The successful candidate will lead on pastoral care across a designated year group(s), working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, families and external agencies to promote high standards of behaviour, attendance, wellbeing and personal development. You will be confident in managing complex safeguarding and pastoral issues, while also building strong, trusting relationships with young people.
