We are partnering with a leading main contractor requiring operatives with strong expertise in batt and mastic systems for extensive penetration sealing across site.This is a long-term contract offering high earning potential with accommodation/digs provided, making it an ideal opportunity for both local operatives and travelling sub-contractors.The RoleBatt and Mastic Installation: Cutting, fitting, and sealing coated mineral wool batt systems around structural openings, pipework, and duct penetrations.Fire Sealing: Applying intumescent mastic, silicone sealants, and fire-rated compounds to ensure full acoustic and fire integrity to precise manufacturer specifications.Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensuring all installed penetration seals strictly adhere to FIRAS/BM TRADA guidelines and site safety standards.Site Preparation: Preparing substrates, openings, and services prior to applying fire-stopping seals.RequirementsCSCS Card: Valid CSCS Card (Fire Stopper / NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection preferred).DBS Check: Basic/Enhanced DBS check is preferred, but not strictly essential.Experience: Proven experience in commercial batt and mastic fire-stopping ..... full job details .....
