This is a preconstruction role combining technical consultancy with estimating, offering the chance to work on complex, high-profile projects. Key Responsibilities Preconstruction (PCSA Periods) Provide expert technical guidance on passive fire protection systems, including fire stopping, fire doors, penetration seals, linear gap seals, cavity barriers and structural fire protection (intumescent coatings, boards and encasement systems) Interpret and apply relevant standards and legislation, including Building Regulations, Approved Document B, and BS and EN standards Review drawings, specifications and method statements for compliance with fire safety and structural fire resistance requirements Assess fire resistance requirements for steel, concrete and composite structures in line with approved fire strategies Carry out technical assessments and surveys on existing and new-build projects Arrange testing where required Support compliance with third-party accreditation schemes ...
