Parts Inventory Planner (Temporary Contract) Crawley (Hybrid - 2 days from home) Contract until June 2027An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Inventory Planner to join a well-established international organisation. This is a key role supporting the smooth running of manufacturing operations by ensuring parts are available when needed and stock levels are efficiently managed.The RoleYou will be responsible for managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring parts availability to prevent delays in production. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you''ll play a vital role in maintaining efficiency across the supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement inventory planning strategiesMonitor stock levels and analyse usage to prevent shortages or excessWork closely with Sales, Service, and Technical teams to forecast demandCoordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issuesReview and adjust stock settings (e.g. safety stock, order quantities)Produce reports and provide insights on inventory performanceBuild strong working relationships with internal teams and suppliersSupport continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouExperience in inventory planning, logistics, or order processingUnderstanding of supply chain processes and planning techniquesStrong analytical skills with attention to detailAdvanced Excel skills (Power BI, SQL, SAP highly desirable)Excellent organisation and time management ..... full job details .....
