Parts Coordinator / Parts Advisor

We are recruiting for a Parts Coordinator to join an established engineering business based in Epping. This is a varied role involving customer enquiries, spare parts identification, quotations, purchasing and order processing. There is also a small hands-on element, including picking, packing and preparing parts for dispatch when required. We''re looking for somebody with experience in parts, engineering supplies, technical sales or a similar environment who enjoys taking ownership of the whole process, from initial customer enquiry through to delivery. Key Duties Respond to customer enquiries for spare parts and replacement components. Identify the correct parts using part numbers, product information and technical drawings. Prepare quotations and process customer orders. Check stock availability and arrange purchasing where required. Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery times. Follow up quotations and outstanding orders. Keep customers updated on order progress and delivery times. Pick, pack and prepare parts for dispatch when required. Work closely with engineers, stores and other internal departments. Maintain accurate stock, purchasing and order records. Experience and Skills Previous experience in parts sales, parts coordination, engineering supplies or a similar role. Ideally a background within engineering, manufacturing, automotive, machinery or technical products. Experience handling customer enquiries, quotations and orders. ..... full job details .....
