P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently looking for a Parts Co-ordinator on a full-time, permanent basis located in Great Yarmouth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identification of parts from manufacturer parts systems and schematic drawings
  • Sourcing of parts from OEMs and alternative suppliers
  • Raising purchase order requisitions and tracking deliveries
  • Booking in and out of all materials to jobs
  • Planning of upcoming tasks to ensure parts are available on time
  • Ensuring accuracy of parts orders
  • Monitoring and return of core and old units
  • Organising and returning warranty parts
  • Any other duty or task that may be deemed reasonable

Person Specification:

  • 3 years’ previous experience in a parts procurement environment identifying engine/mechanical parts
  • Strong operational involvement and willingness to get directly involved
  • Demonstrates strong self-motivation and initiative
  • Effective in both independent and team-oriented settings
  • Proactive and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn
  • Strong commitment to quality standards
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Packages
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure
  • Negotiation skills
  • Flexibility

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 16:30 and Friday 08:30 – 15:30
  • This will be fully office based.
