Parts / Service ManagerLocation: Doncaster, South YorkshireSalary: 40,000 - 60,000, dependent on experienceHours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:30pmJob Type: Permanent, DaysWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts / Service Manager to join a well-established and growing engineering and machinery manufacturing business based in Doncaster.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong hands-on engineering background who is ready to take ownership of both a busy service engineering team and the company''s spare parts function.The role will be approximately 90% office based and 10% travel, making it particularly suitable for an experienced Service Engineer, Service Manager or Engineering Supervisor who wants to move away from being constantly on the road while remaining heavily involved in the technical side of engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop the company''s spare parts departmentIdentify opportunities to improve the efficiency and organisation of the spares functionOversee a team of approximately 8-9 Service / Installation EngineersProvide technical support and guidance to engineers when requiredAssist engineers with technical problems, breakdowns and customer requirementsManage and coordinate service and installation activitiesSupport the continued growth of the Service and Installation Engineering teamsImprove spare parts stock control, recording and availabilityWork closely with engineering and other ..... full job details .....
