Parts Advisor

Salary: £31,000-£35,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Holiday: 22 days plus bank holidays
 
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join an established employer within the automotive sector.
 
This is a varied role suited to someone with previous parts experience who is confident dealing with customers, supporting workshop colleagues and keeping on top of stock and orders.
You''ll be joining a busy team where organisation, attention to detail and a positive approach are essential.
 
The Role
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing parts orders and invoices
• Allocating and issuing parts for workshop jobs
• Maintaining accurate stock levels
• Supporting technicians with parts requirements
• Liaising with internal departments
• Handling telephone and face-to-face customer enquiries
• Trade and retail parts sales
• Delivering parts to customers when required
• Completing associated administration
• Using parts and stock management systems
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day duties

About You
 
We''re looking for someone who:

• Has previous parts experience, ideally within the automotive sector
• Is confident dealing with customers and colleagues
• Is organised, methodical and reliable
• Has strong attention to detail
• Can manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and other computer systems
• Has experience with ADP/Kerridge or similar systems - desirable
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
