Parts Advisor

We are currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor to join a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to advance their career within a well-established, industry-leading business.

• Competitive starting salary of -30,000 to -32,000 per annum, depending on experience

Duties of the Parts Advisor:

• Deal directly with trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries and sales
• Ensure accurate identification, picking, and dispatching of parts orders
• Provide high-quality customer service through face-to-face interactions, emails, and phone calls
• Carry out parts stock control and manage inventory levels effectively
• Supply parts to HGV Technicians in the workshop
• Cover for the Parts Delivery Driver during their absence
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely parts availability
• Utilise electronic parts catalogue systems, including Kerridge/Keyloop (advantageous)

Requirements of the Parts Advisor:

• Recent experience as a Parts Advisor within a franchise-approved automotive dealership or motor factor
• Knowledge or experience with commercial vehicle parts is desirable but not essential
• IT literate, with experience working with electronic parts catalogue systems (Kerridge/Keyloop preferred)
• Hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
• Strong customer service and sales skills with a professional, friendly manner
• Residency within a reasonable commute to Gloucester preferred
