Our client are looking for a Parts Advisor to join the group of body shops that have been repairing accident damaged cars for customers since 2000. With continuous investment in the latest technology and training, alongside standing as employer or choice in the area this is a great time to join this growing business!OBJECTIVES and MEASURES Maintain parts and paint stock and stock recordsProcess parts orders efficientlyContribute to departmental compliance with company policies and industry guidelinesWorkshop productivityBodyshop KPI sParts returnsMaintain parts order system using reports to chase undelivered parts dailyEnsure that all parts to be ordered are authorised by estimator or line managerKeep estimator informed of any supplementary parts orderedControl the return of unused or over order parts maintaining the order system accuratelyParticipate in daily production meetings with reception and workshop controlMonitor due out jobs to insure availability of parts on refitEnsure all paperwork, documentation and parts requisitions are completed accuratelyPlace special orders as necessary, balancing the needs of economy and speed of delivery according to line manager guidelinesWhere possible confirm parts are correct on arrival to avoid unnecessary delays You will maintain parts and paint stock and keep up to date records ensuring stock is kept securely, deliveries checked and stored correctly, yearly supplier re-views and making sure the department is clean and tidy and ..... full job details .....
