Partnership Tax Assistant

We''re recruiting for a Partnership Tax Assistant to join the Finance team of a leading international law firm, based in either London or Liverpool.

This is a great opportunity for a tax professional to support the firm''s partners with their UK personal tax affairs and develop their career within a high-performing professional services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of partners'' UK personal tax returns.
• Prepare returns for self-employed individuals/partners.
• Extract and review information from HMRC Government Gateway.
• Use commercial tax software, ideally Digita.
• Research tax matters and ensure compliance with UK tax legislation.
• Work closely with partners and the wider Finance team.

About you

• Previous personal tax experience.
• Experience preparing tax returns.
• Knowledge of UK personal tax.
• ATT or CTA qualified, part-qualified or working towards qualification is desirable.
• Strong Excel, analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Hybrid working: Minimum 3 days per week in the office
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm
Location: Liverpool
