Part-time Youth Support Worker Female

Caxton is an energetic environment, and in this role you will be supporting young people to participate in activities, as well as designing activities of your own to support with the delivery of our youth programmes. We are seeking a team player, someone who wants to support the other youth workers and work together to deliver excellent, high quality sessions. We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate high levels of professionalism, and excellent skills for empathizing with people. In this role you will need to be able to communicate with young people with different communication skills and show a great level of understanding of autism and learning disabilities. There will be times where you need to think on your feet and be responsive to changing needs. Flexibility is key to this role. First and third Thursdays of each month (4 - 10pm) during term-time for Girl''s Group. Three shifts a week during school holidays, mostly daytime. One 3-night residential trip per year.
