Salary: -17,000 to -18,900 pro rata actual (Up to -33,000 FTE)
Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week flexible

We are working on behalf of esteemed organisation, who are recruiting a creative and user-focused Website Content Coordinator to support one of the organisation''s most significant digital transformation projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in reviewing, rewriting and creating engaging website content that ensures their audience can find information quickly, access services easily and connect with everything the organisation has to offer.
As Website Content Coordinator, you will work in a small Communications & Marketing team, reporting into the Communications & Marketing Coordinator and working closely with the Communications & Marketing Director. You will also collaborate with colleagues across the organisation and the website project team to ensure content is clear, accessible, accurate and aligned with user needs, research insights and Warwick SU''s brand.
The role is part-time at 20 hours per week. There are no fixed working days: the employer is happy to be flexible depending on the successful candidate and their needs, including considering shorter working days across the week. The business has a hybrid working policy with flexibility to work from home dependent on operational requirements.-
This is a 9-month fixed-term contract based on the budget currently available for this project role.
Role and responsibilities:
- As a Website Content Coordinator, you will lead the audit, review and redevelopment of website content across the organisation, ensuring content is relevant, engaging and meets user needs.
- Write, edit and proofread high-quality website copy that reflects the organisations tone of voice, brand values and accessibility standards.
- Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to gather information, understand services and translate complex information into clear, student-friendly content.
- Apply user research, content strategy and digital best practice to improve website usability, navigation and overall user experience.
- Collaborate with the website project team to ensure content aligns with the new website structure, design, user journeys and project milestones.
- Support content migration, quality assurance and population of the new website using the content management system.
- Contribute to content governance processes, editorial standards and sustainable workflows that support long-term website maintenance.
- Build positive relationships across departments and help ensure website content remains accurate, relevant and up to date.
Skills and experience required:
- Demonstrable experience writing, editing and proofreading content for websites or other digital channels.
- Experience managing complex content projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience gathering information from subject matter experts and translating it into engaging content for target audiences.
- Experience reviewing and improving content for usability, readability and accessibility.
- Exceptional written communication and copywriting skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively across an organisation.
- Understanding of digital content best practice, including accessibility and user-centred content design.
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently, with a curious and analytical approach to understanding user needs.
- Experience of website redevelopment or digital transformation projects and familiarity with content management systems would be advantageous.
