Part Time Tutor

The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and experienced Part Time Tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Manchester.

This rewarding role involves supporting learners with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them overcome barriers to education and achieve meaningful academic and personal progress.

Working on a one-to-one basis, youll create engaging lessons tailored to each learners individual needs, building confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.

Position Details:
* Location: Manchester
* Position: SEND Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
* Experience supporting children and young people with SEND
* QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
* Experience delivering 1:1 tuition
* A patient, flexible and engaging teaching approach

To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
