Part Time Senior Practice Accountant

TPF Recruitment is supporting a highly regarded independent firm of accountants in Edenbridge with the recruitment of a Part Time Senior Practice Accountant. The firm is flexible regarding the level of appointment and will shape the position around the successful candidate''s experience, strengths and career aspirations. Working in a general practice capacity, you will provide a broad range of services to a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses. Key responsibilities include: Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns Completing bookkeeping and VAT returns Managing a portfolio of owner managed business clients Acting as a key point of contact and providing general business advice Supporting and reviewing junior team members, depending on experience Requirements The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and will be comfortable managing a varied workload. You may be ACA or ACCA qualified, part qualified, AAT qualified or qualified by experience. The firm is open to candidates seeking either a part time or full time position and can offer flexibility around working hours.
