Part-time Senior Compliance Manager and MLRO (SMF17) - Consumer Lending3 days a weekLondon (Hybrid, 2 days in the office)£90k - £110k FTEThat’s what’s on offer here. This established consumer lender is under new leadership and is geared for significant growth over the next few years. As the business grows and enters new markets, this role will become an SMF16 position. We’re talking 12-18 months down the line.Notably, this is a part-time role with 2 of the 3 days spent in the firm’s London office.You’ll be the sole Compliance specialist within the business (2nd line, reporting into the CEO) for now, with scope to build a small team as the business grows.Responsibilities include leading core compliance initiatives and the company’s control framework, building relationships with key stakeholders, promoting an ethical working environment and driving through regulatory change.You’ll provide regulatory advice, guidance and challenge to the business, promote a culture of continuous improvement in customer experience, and ensure the fair treatment of customers remains central.You’ll be the Consumer Duty lead for the business and will take on MLRO (SMF17) responsibilities.You’ll be an experienced senior Compliance professional from the consumer lending arena, familiar with regulations impacting this sector, including CONC and Consumer Duty in particular.Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite for this role.Sound good?How to applyIf so, click apply and send over your CV.
