Part-time Senior Bookkeeper

Your new company A successful business in their field is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and hands-on finance professional looking for a varied role within a supportive environment, with the possibility of a permanent position.Your new role Working as the sole finance person in an established wider team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the smooth running of the business.Key responsibilities will include:Managing the accounts function through to trial balanceProcessing and reconciling UK and European bank accountsPerforming regular bank reconciliationsInvestigating and resolving discrepanciesCredit control and debt collection activitiesMaintaining accurate financial records using XeroSupporting month-end processes and reporting requirementsWhat you''ll need to succeed Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally as a standalone finance professionalStrong working knowledge of XeroExperience producing accounts to trial balanceConfidence managing multiple bank accounts, including overseas accountsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong credit control and reconciliation experienceWhat you''ll get in return Competitive salary equivalent of £28,000 - £32,000 FTE depending on experienceOpportunity to work independently and take ownership of the finance functionPotential for the role to ..... full job details .....
