This child has SEMH and has difficulty regulating emotions and can display some challenging behaviours (spitting, biting, destroying nurture rooms) when dysregulated. You will need to be experienced in managing challenging behaviours and be confident in managing a consistent provision for the child which is rooted in the school''s behaviour policy and the child''s individualised emotional regulation plan.
