Part Time SEN Children''s Family Practitioner

We are working on behalf of a children''s charity who are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to join their Children''s Services team. You will be working as part of a supportive team, and you will help create a welcoming, inclusive and stimulating environment where children''s individual needs are understood, supported and celebrated. The role is to start as soon as possible and will run to September and possibly beyond on a temporary basis.What you''ll be doing:Based at a centre supporting children from 0 to 4 and their familiesRole is Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm each day - 26 hours per weekSupporting children''s learning, development and wellbeing through effective indoor and outdoor play experiences.Building positive relationships with children, parents and carers while sharing appropriate information about each child''s needs and progress.Working within a key person system to observe, review and evaluate children''s progress, maintaining accurate records to support planning.Maintaining high standards of health, safety, safeguarding and child protection in line with policies and procedures.Contributing to learning programmes for individual children or groups, appropriate to their needs and developmental stages.Preparing rooms and dedicated areas, supporting safe staffing ratios and effective use of resources.Working collaboratively with colleagues and multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.Where ..... full job details .....
