Job Title: PART-TIME Receptionist/Administrator
Location: Banbury
Hours: Part-time


Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Part-Time Receptionist/Administrator to join our client's team. This position is ideal for individuals with previous experience as a receptionist in veterinary clinics, schools, doctors' surgeries, or dental offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks, greeting clients, handling phone inquiries, and ensuring smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to client enquiries.
  • Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring accurate booking and timely reminders.
  • Maintain and update client/patient records accurately and securely.
  • Handle incoming emails and general correspondence.
  • Assist with billing and payments when necessary.
  • Provide general administrative support including filing, scanning, and organising documents.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Assist with managing office supplies and inventory.
  • Support team members with additional administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a receptionist in a veterinary clinic, school, doctor's surgery, dental office, or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organised in a busy environment.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • A team player who is proactive and willing to assist with various office duties.
