Job Title: SEN QTS Tutor Core Subjects (Wigan) Location: Wigan Pay Rate: GBP30 per hour Job Type: Part-Time Flexible Hours Starting After Easter Break Our SEN tutors play a vital role in supporting students with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. For this role, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a strict requirement, ensuring the highest level of teaching expertise for our learners. You will work with students with needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), and those working below expected academic levels, delivering tailored support that makes a real difference. We understand that every learners journey is unique. This role offers flexible, part-time hours to fit around your schedule, alongside the opportunity to have a meaningful and lasting impact. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, one-to-one Maths and English sessions tailored to SEN learners. Adapt teaching strategies, lesson content, and pace to meet individual learning and emotional needs. Support students in developing subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence. Build a strong, consistent rapport to create a safe and engaging learning environment. Monitor progress and provide detailed, constructive feedback to parents, carers, and professionals.
