Part Time Production Operative

Kinetic Industrial are working with a leading supplier of specialist cable products based in Blackley, who are looking to recruit a Part Time Production Operative.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business, offering a part-time role with the potential to move into full-time hours in the future.Working Hours (Rotating): Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 08:30 to 17:00 Week 2: Monday, Tuesday - 08:30 to 17:00 Please note: A drug and alcohol test will be carried out at interview stage. A negative result is required to be considered for the role.The Role: Following job sheets and cutting orders accurately Cutting, winding, packing, and processing cable products Operating machinery safely and efficiently Completing orders using scanners or manual systems Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Reporting faults, damaged goods, or safety concerns Carrying out basic equipment checks and reporting defects Adhering to health and safety and environmental procedures Supporting the wider production team with general duties Requirements: Good numeracy and literacy skills Strong communication skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Basic understanding of health and safety in a manufacturing environment Previous production or quality experience (preferred) Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills NVQ or equivalent (desirable) Must be able to ..... full job details .....
