Job Title: Part-Time Personal Assistant with Housekeeping Duties

Reports To: Business Owner
Hours: 15-16 hours per week, primarily mornings
Salary: -15 per hour, plus holiday pay, pension contributions, and free parking
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Part-Time Personal Assistant to support a private business owner in both professional and personal capacities. This role will encompass managing various business tasks as well as housekeeping and cleaning duties in the owner''s residence. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills, able to maintain confidentiality and handle diverse tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Support:
- Assist in managing the owner''s schedule, including appointments and meetings.
- Conduct research and prepare reports or presentations as required.
- Manage correspondence (emails, phone calls, and mail).
- Organise travel arrangements, including itineraries and accommodations.
- Assist with bookkeeping and basic financial tasks, if applicable.
- Handle administrative tasks for the owner''s business as needed.
- Housekeeping Duties:
- Perform daily cleaning and tidying of the owner''s residence, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Manage laundry and ensure the cleanliness of clothing and household linens.
- Maintain organisation in living spaces and common areas.
- Assist with grocery shopping and stock household supplies, ensuring the kitchen is stocked and organised.
- Execute other household errands as needed.
- Personal Organisation:
- Assist with personal tasks and errands, such as scheduling appointments or managing personal projects.
- Facilitate communication between the owner and other personal or business contacts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, in a housekeeping role, or in a similar position is preferred.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and basic bookkeeping software.
- A valid driving licence and reliable transportation may be required.
