Part-Time People Director Salary: £47,665 £53,051 FTE Hours: 22.5 hours per week Contract: Permanent, Part-Time Location: Cheshire / Wirral / Liverpool Working Pattern: Hybrid home/central office with regular planned school visits The Role An opportunity for an experienced senior HR professional to become the lead adviser on all people matters across a multi-site education organisation. A key focus will be providing expert advice on complex employee relations matters while developing a consistent HR policy framework and helping transition the organisation towards a stronger in-house People function. Key Responsibilities Act as the senior HR adviser to Headteachers and senior leaders. Manage complex disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases. Develop and maintain legally compliant HR policies across multiple sites. Lead workforce planning and support senior recruitment. Oversee safer recruitment compliance and HR processes. Support appraisal, pay and performance processes. Manage occupational health and HR systems relationships. Provide workforce reporting and people data to senior leadership. Support organisational growth, including TUPE and employment due diligence. Develop initiatives around wellbeing, EDI and professional development. Ideal Candidate Experienced senior HR professional with strong employee relations and employment law expertise. Proven experience independently managing complex casework from start to finish.
