Part-time Payroll and Accounts Administrator

Portfolio Payroll is collaborating with a well-established accountancy practice based in Knowsley looking to recruit a Part-time Payroll and Accounts Admin on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Duties:Process end-to-end monthly payroll for employees (including starters, leavers, and adjustments)Ensure accurate calculations of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, pensions, and other statutory paymentsLiaise with HMRC and pension providers for compliance and reportingPrepare and submit RTI submissions and P45/P60/P11D formsMaintain employee payroll records and respond to payroll-related queries Accounts Support:Assist with purchase and sales ledger processingPerform bank reconciliations and process paymentsReconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice queriesAssist with VAT returns and other ad-hoc finance duties Desirable skills and attributes:Previous experience in client payroll and accounts(Bureau/ Practice) environment Confident CommunicatorGood eye for detail, and can work with precisionAbility to work to tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environmentAble to work independently and collaboratively What''s on offer:Competitive salary Free parking Work socials Flexible working hours If this sounds like your next best opportunity, apply directly or call on (phone number removed) and ask for Lidya to discuss the role further. ..... full job details .....
