Part Time Nursery Business Manager

My client, a Nursery School in South London is now looking to recruit a Business Manager on a part time basis. This is a significant post within the nursery, which carries with it responsibility within the senior leadership team, managing the day-to-day finance, administration, premises and HR requirements. Supported by a central team within the nursery and with the on-site assistance of a small support team, you''ll work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the best use of resources and ensure the Nursery obligations are met. Responsibilities will include: Oversee the financial management of the nursery, including budget planning, monitoring, and reporting. Manage all aspects of the nursey''s administrative and support functions, ensuring smooth operations on a day-to-day basis. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Lead and manage a team of administrative staff, providing guidance and support as required. Develop and implement efficient administrative systems and processes to enhance the effectiveness of the nursery''s operations. Work closely with the leadership team to contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making processes. Collaborate with external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and local authorities, to ensure effective procurement and contract management.
