Our client is a non-profit organisation working with people to support their health and wellbeing. Established for over 30 years, they have provided services alongside a variety of statutory and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) colleagues in Surrey and its boarders. They believe change is achievable when offered by a flexible, respectful, inclusive and a non-judgemental approach. They are currently looking for a Part Time Mental Health Support Worker to be based within the Foodbanks within the Spelthorne area. Salary: £25,970 pro rata Hours: 28 hours (open to 5 part days or 4 full days) Duration: 2 year contract Company Benefits: 26 days annual leave (pro rata and rising with service) + bank holidays + 1 extra days leave on your birthday, Pension, Access to Simply Health, Blended working, Employee discount programme and more Location Spelthorne area (mainly Stanwell and Sunbury) This is a unique and fantastic opportunity to offer mental health support within a less formal setting. You will be based mainly within two foodbanks in the Spelthorne area and you will be supporting individuals who are experiencing mental health challenges, helping to identify immediate needs and provide reassurance during foodbank visits whilst helping to navigate the mental health system to ensure access to the appropriate services.
