This is a part-time position (2 days per week) with flexibility on working days, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer seeking a flexible working arrangement. We are a UK market-leading provider of returnable transit packaging solutions, offering a fully integrated service including the rental, pooling, washing, repair, and management of equipment such as plastic crates, trays, and pallets.We support a wide range of industries including food, automotive, retail, and logistics, helping customers reduce costs and improve sustainability through reusable packaging systems.Key Responsibilities- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of onsite production machinery, including conveyor and feed systems, palletising/stacking equipment, pumps, and motors. - Diagnose and evaluate mechanical and electrical faults, providing clear feedback and recommendations to the Management Team. - Perform systematic fault-finding activities to minimise downtime and ensure efficient production operations. - Plan and execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities, including managing maintenance schedules and coordinating works with site management. - Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to support ..... full job details .....
