Part-Time Kitchen Assistant

Cygnet Group is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Cygnet Cedars. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, enjoys working as part of a team, and wants to make a positive difference to the lives of our service users. This role offers 24 hours per week, worked across three shifts per week, with hours of 7:00am to 3:00pm at Cygnet Cedars. Cygnet Cedars is a 23-bed high dependency complex care service for men with learning disabilities, associated complex needs and who may have behaviours that challenge. We accept emergency referrals and the team are experienced in managing them quickly and efficiently to ensure the transition for each individual is as smooth as possible. Your day-to-day Assist in the preparation of balanced, appetising meals Perform cooking tasks and other kitchen duties Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas and dining room Wash utensils, dishes and make sure they are stored appropriately Rotate stock and put away all deliveries Maintain personal hygiene to comply with Cygnet standards and food hygiene regulations Handle, maintain and store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet procedures Use chemicals inline with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) ..... full job details .....
