Catering / Kitchen Assistant Location: Hauxton, Cambridge Salary: £13,988 per annum (£25,877.80 FTE) Hours: 20 hours per week Friday - Tuesday 10am - 2pm We''re looking for a friendly and reliable Catering / Kitchen Assistant to join a welcoming team within a residential care environment. You''ll work alongside the kitchen team to help prepare and serve meals, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensure residents enjoy a positive dining experience. Key Responsibilities: Support the kitchen team with food preparation and general catering duties. Help with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments. Keep kitchen, dining and food preparation areas clean, tidy and organised. Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times. Help monitor stock levels and ensure supplies are available when needed. Take care to minimise food waste wherever possible. Contribute ideas and feedback to help improve the dining experience. Work as part of a supportive team to provide a high standard of service to residents.
