Northamptonshire Children''s Trust is currently seeking an Independent Reviewing and Conference Officer (Child Protection Conference Chair) to join their team on a part-time basis.Rate: 40 per hour Hours: 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours per week) Location: Northampton and Kettering (for face-to-face meetings) Working Pattern: Hybrid - most Review Conferences are held virtually, with approximately 2 days per week required for face-to-face Initial Child Protection ConferencesThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key role in ensuring high-quality child protection planning and safeguarding outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Provide independent oversight and quality assurance of child protection planningChair Child Protection Conferences, ensuring the child''s voice and best interests remain centralMonitor performance of child protection practice across the TrustIdentify areas of poor practice and escalate concerns appropriatelyReport findings and recommend improvements to senior managementWork collaboratively with senior leaders to implement remedial actions and drive service improvementEssential Requirements:Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalentAt least 3 years'' experience as a social worker within children''s servicesSocial Work England RegistrationDriving license and access to own vehicleIf you are interested in this position, please send your CV to Adarsh Parihar at or call on (phone number removed).Benefits of working with Eden Brown ..... full job details .....
