Part Time Income Manager

A hands-on income management role with real scope to improve performance, develop a small team and make the role your own. We are working with a small, values-led housing organisation that is looking for a Part Time Income Manager to lead a close-knit team and take ownership of income and arrears performance. This is a role where getting involved really matters. You will manage the team, but you will also be expected to roll your sleeves up, support with more complex cases and do whatever is needed to get the job done. This could mean anything from working through arrears cases to picking up the phone and speaking directly with residents. There is work to do. Arrears have increased and the organisation is looking for someone who can bring performance back to where it needs to be, clearly demonstrate what is working and identify where further improvements are needed. The role Lead and manage a small team of Income Officers, setting clear expectations and driving performance. Take ownership of income collection, arrears and overall income management performance. Identify areas for improvement and put clear, practical actions in place to deliver better results. Monitor and report on performance, providing clear evidence of progress and highlighting areas requiring further attention. Remain hands-on with more complex cases and support the team when needed.
