An innovative organisation in the design and engineering sector is seeking a part-time HR Consultant to support the team on a 6-month fixed-term basis. The business is focused on driving transformation, embracing emerging technologies, and delivering high-quality outcomes across its projects.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with expertise in
Learning and Development, Performance and Calibration, and Job Evaluation and Architecture .

Key ResponsibilitiesYou will work closely with the HR manager and senior leaders across three key project areas:
Job Evaluation and Architecture
- Assess the current structure and design a forward-thinking job framework.
Learning and Development
- Design and deliver core LandD programmes including leadership training, CPD sessions, and soft skills development.
Performance and Calibration
- Coordinate the end-of-year review process, support calibration sessions, and provide guidance to senior stakeholders.
Additional responsibilities include:
Ensuring all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Supporting complex employee relations cases as needed.
Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance people processes and efficiency.
About You
CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confident user of Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo
