The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Werneth Primary School to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming primary school and play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working two days per week, you will help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will:

• Deliver learning activities and interventions across the primary age range
• Provide classroom cover when required
• Support pupils'' academic, social, and emotional development
• Work closely with teachers to raise pupil achievement
• Support individuals and small groups of pupils
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

This role would be particularly well suited to an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain additional classroom experience, develop their confidence, and broaden their understanding of teaching and learning within a supportive primary school environment.

• HLTA qualification or relevant classroom experience
• Experience working within a primary school setting
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential
• Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented approach
