Part-Time Health and Safety Consultant

Our client is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Consultant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a competent, construction-focused professional who wants to work with a forward-thinking consultancy delivering practical, commercially aware health and safety support across a diverse client base.This is a self-employed part-time role for 2-3 days per week, paying to £350 per day + travel contribution. You will be travelling to client sites across South East England (London / Home Counties / South Coast).About the roleAs a Health and Safety Consultant, you will support clients across London, the Home Counties and the South Coast, delivering hands-on safety leadership and compliance support. This role requires a commitment of two days or three days per week on a self-employed basis.Key responsibilities: Carrying out site safety inspections and auditsAttending and contributing to safety meetingsDeveloping Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)Preparing Construction Phase PlansConducting accident and incident investigationsProviding clear, practical health and safety advice to clientsSupporting clients with ongoing compliance and best practice Essential experience Proven experience within the construction sectorNEBOSH General CertificateNEBOSH Construction CertificateStrong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislationFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region Key attributes Strong communication and ..... full job details .....
