Description Lead the annual audit process, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors and ensuring all requirements are delivered accurately and on time. Take ownership of statutory accounts preparation and year-end reporting. Manage all VAT returns and provide expert advice on VAT compliance within a not-for-profit environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, financial, and charity reporting requirements. Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. Oversee financial controls and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities. Work closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and support decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and governance requirements.
