Part Time Finance Controller

We''re looking for an experienced Part-Time Financial Controller to join their team on a 2-day-per-week, office-based basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being hands-on, taking ownership and providing valuable financial insight to support the wider business. DAY TO DAY Preparing monthly management accounts and providing clear financial insight Taking ownership of the month-end process and ensuring deadlines are met Preparing and managing VAT returns Overseeing import tax and related financial requirements Managing payroll processes and ensuring everything is accurate and completed on time Completing regular reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records Working closely with senior management Reviewing and improving financial processes and controls Ensuring the smooth and effective running of the finance function WHAT WE''D LOVE TO SEE Previous experience within a Financial Controller, Management Accountant or similar senior finance position Strong technical accounting knowledge and solid month-end experience Experience with VAT, payroll and ..... full job details .....
