Part-time Driver

Rocket Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Delivery Drivers to join a leading automotive business based in Corby. Pay & Benefits

• Standard Rate: -12.71 per hour-(Enhanced overtime rates payable after 12 weeks)
• Overtime Rate: -19.06-per hour (after 40 hours worked)
• Sunday Rate: -25.42-per hour

Working Hours

• Shift Pattern: Monday and-Tuesday
• Start Time: 06:00 - 16:00 or 07:00 - 19:00

Key Responsibilities

• Safely move and manoeuvre vehicles throughout the site.
• Use handheld device (HHD) scanners to track, locate, and manage vehicle movements (full training provided).
• Carry out basic vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues to the Line Manager.
• Ensure all vehicles are parked and stored in line with customer requirements and site procedures.
• Conduct vehicle damage checks before movement and report any findings promptly.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety for yourself and colleagues.
• Drive responsibly at all times and adhere to all site speed limits and regulations.
• Support wider yard operations and undertake additional duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Minimum of 2 years'' driving experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
