thefutureworks are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Domestic Assistant to join our team at Coventry University Scarborough Campus.Location: Scarborough, YO11 2JWHours: 15 hours per weekWorking hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-6:00pmContract: Part-timeThe RoleAs a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the campus and ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.Duties and Responsibilities Undertake a full range of cleaning duties as directed on a day-to-day basis. Clean communal areas, stairs, corridors and lift entrances. Empty waste bins and remove rubbish to the appropriate collection points. Use a range of cleaning equipment and materials in accordance with agreed specifications and work schedules. Ensure all cleaning is completed to an excellent standard. Clean a variety of surfaces, fixtures and fittings using appropriate methods, equipment and materials. Report any concerns or queries to the Domestic Team Leader. Comply with all COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.Skills and ExperienceWe are looking for someone who: Is able to undertake a range of manual cleaning activities. Is reliable, hardworking and self-motivated. Can use their own initiative. Works well as part of a team. Has excellent communication skills. Has excellent customer service skills.
